The New Mound Pre-K-8 School is the first LEEDS Gold urban school in Cleveland making it the showcase for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.

The Gold LEED standard was met while MAC was working on a shortened schedule. During construction 86% of the construction waste was recycled.
